Plumbing Valves & Taps
Valves for isolating, controlling and servicing water and heating systems: isolating valves, full-bore lever valves, gate valves, radiator valves and outside tap parts. Filter by size and connection to find the right fit.
FAQs
Which way is an isolating valve open?
On a slotted isolating valve, the slot in line with the pipe means open and the slot across the pipe means closed.
Where should isolating valves be fitted?
On the feed to each tap, toilet cistern, appliance and shower so each can be serviced without turning off the whole house.
What is a full bore isolating valve?
A valve with a larger internal bore, which restricts flow less. It is a good choice for showers and other higher-flow outlets.
Do valves need PTFE tape?
Not on compression ends, which seal on the olive. Use tape or sealant only on tapered threaded connections.
