Our products and your order
These terms apply to purchases from PlumbCrate. Read the product description, selected size, connection type and purchase unit before ordering. A pack or set is supplied in the quantity stated on that product page; the basket quantity counts purchase units, not necessarily individual pieces. Check compatibility and use appropriately qualified installers where required. Product information does not replace the instructions or safety information supplied with the goods.
Placing an order is your offer to buy the selected goods. An automatic receipt acknowledgment confirms receipt, not acceptance. We accept your order when we confirm dispatch. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund any payment taken for it. We will not impose a material substitution or price change without your agreement.
Prices and payment
Customer selling prices include VAT where applicable. Where an ex-VAT amount is also displayed, it is identified separately. The final goods price, any discount and available delivery charges are shown at checkout before you place your order. Use only a payment method offered at checkout. We do not promise any payment method that is not offered there.
If we discover a material pricing or description error, we will contact you before acceptance to explain it and ask whether you wish to proceed on the correct terms or cancel. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
Our Shipping and delivery policy explains delivery options and timing. Our Refunds and returns policy explains consumer cancellation, return costs and remedies for faulty goods. Both form part of these terms. Consumer cancellation and statutory remedies are not dependent on a discretionary store approval.
Using the site and goods
Provide accurate order details and use this website lawfully. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its security or submit fraudulent orders. Use products only for their intended purpose, within verified specifications and in accordance with the instructions and applicable safety requirements. If a specification is unclear, ask us before ordering rather than assuming compatibility.
Responsibility and your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. We do not give additional product guarantees beyond those expressly stated for a product or required by law. Any manufacturer's warranty does not replace your rights against us.
Privacy and complaints
Our existing Privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. Contact us using the details above about any order problem or complaint. We will consider the issue and the remedy required by applicable law; these terms do not restrict your access to statutory remedies.
Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections that apply where they live. Consumers retain any right to bring proceedings in the courts of their home part of the United Kingdom. Changes to these terms do not retrospectively change an order already accepted.
